I am a Fracture and who will get me
anybody and everybody because situations vary



Two types of fracture aka me .The first is a "simple fracture."A fracture in which the skin is intact and no wound is present anywhere near the fractured area that can be seen


The second type of fracture is known as a "compound fracture." when the underlying skin has been broken or damaged. I have attacked. This type of injury may result in the bone protruding through the victim's skin or as a result of a direct blow that cuts the skin at the time of impact. The bone itself may or may not be visible in the wounded area.

I am a comminuted fracture. I appear when your bone is broken ino several pieces

When your bone breaks in two complete fracture is the fracture for you

But if your broken bone acts as a knife and cuts through the skin from inside to out Compound fracture is why you scream ouch!

Now imagine bending a twig that just tore off a tree when the stick is fresh and green it doesnot snap into pieces just like me Im a Greenstick fracture that looks frayed with an incomplete break

When one part of your bone has been twisted it is me a spiral fractured pain guarenteed.






So now you know some information about me. I can be taken care of with ease or be classified as a medical emergincy but here are some things you can do if i just might be the fracture coming for you.

Find an ice pack and wrap it in a cloth
to avoid harming your skin which might hurt a lot

Take anti-inflammatory medication, such as ibuprofen or acetominophen, to reduce swelling and pain.

Keep off the weight on the infected place
Go to the hospital if all this is driving you insane

CoMmon SkIn InJuRiEs

ABRasion- Road rash , Friction Burn,Its less severe then a lasteration and doesnot appear deeper then the epidermis.Minimal Bleeding if any. If mild it can be considered a graze or a scrape. If deep it may unfortunatly,lead to the formation of scar tissue A more traumatic abrasion that removes all layers of skin is called an avulsion. WHich is BAD!

Most commonly occurs when exposed skin comes into moving contact with a rough surface, causing a grinding or rubbing away of the upper layers of the epidermis

Treatment
clean and remove debris. A topical antibiotic (such as Neosporin or bacitracin) should be applied to prevent infection and to keep the wound moist.Dressing the wound is optional but helps to keep the wound from drying out which interferes with healing.[If the abrasion is painful, a topical analgesic (such as lidocaine or benzocaine) can be applied, but for large abrasions a systemic analgesic may be necessary..

Laceration is an irregular cut from a sharp object and can be severe or easy to fix
so listen to these few tips:
control bleeding and add pressure and when bleeding stops put
wash the laceration with warm water and mild soap clean it alot if it starts to bleed again go back to step 1 and try it again

use antiseptic ointment if stitches is not a need if it is call 911 because its an emergency

Watch for infection and change the dressing (bandages) daily. Clean the laceration each time you change the dressing. If the laceration begins to swell or drain pus - or if redness begins to radiate or streak away from the laceration - contact a doctor.

Take medication to relieve the pain follow these tips and your laceration will be tamed.

PUNcture
A puncture is a wound made by a pointed object (like a nail, knife, or sharp tooth).
same advice as above just look up but here are some things not to do
Do NOT assume that a minor wound is clean because you can't see dirt or debris inside. Wash it.
Do NOT breathe on an open wound.
Do NOT try to clean a major wound, especially after the bleeding is under control.
Do NOT remove a long or deeply embedded object. Seek medical attention.
Do NOT probe or pick debris from a wound. Seek medical attention.
Do NOT push exposed body parts back in. Cover them with clean material until medical help arrives
